OUR TESTIMONY

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,”Whom shall I send? and who will go for us?” and I said “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Born in the heart of the Coachella Valley, The Alaniz Collective was created to be more than just a coffee shop. It was created to bring communion through fellowship and servanthood. At a young age both Emmanuel and Samantha had a calling from the Lord that was much greater than their own understanding or fear of inadequacy.Through the reading of the gospel they came to find out that the Lord is purposeful and faithful. He is a refuge for all who call to Him.

The Alaniz Collective coffee shop will act as a home for all who seek a sip of coffee, the indulgence of the word and the seeking of the Holy Spirit.

The greater purpose of The Alaniz Collective is to assist in the salvation of all those who are lost and broken like we once were through the sharing of the good news, being a home to those in need of community and acting as a modern-day “well” much like the well that Jesus met the samaritan woman.

In the Gospel of John (John 4:1-38), Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a local well. She was an outcast with a heavy past, simply going through her daily routine. But Jesus crossed every cultural and social barrier just to speak with her. He didn’t condemn her; instead, He offered her "living water" a deep, spiritual grace that permanently satisfies the soul's greatest thirst.

The lesson is simple but profound: Jesus meets us exactly where we are, He sees past our brokenness, and His grace is for everyone.

At The Alaniz Collective, this story is our heartbeat. We view our coffee shop as a modern-day well. No matter your background, your past, or how heavy your day has been, you have a seat at our table. We are here to serve exceptional coffee, but more importantly, we are here to offer a safe space where you can find rest, genuine community, and a taste of that living water.
